A Tragic Day In Knoxville

As many of you may have heard by now, yesterday, a tragic event happened at a Knoxville church. Children were performing the musical "Annie" at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church, when a gunman walked into the church carrying a shotgun and open fired. Two people were killed and seven others injured. In a letter found by police the gunman said he was upset with the Liberals, and he was also upset because he could not find a job. He is being charged with a hate crime, first degree murder, and numerous other crimes. In the letter the gunman also stated he intended to use all 70 rounds of ammunition he had, and not be taken alive. Thanks to quick action by several church members, the gunman was taken down and held until police arrived.
As you can imagine, Media from all over the country arrived in Knoxville yesterday to cover this story. I was at the scene Sunday, and took some pictures of the "media frenzy" you can see them below.
Pray for the church members and the children who were attacked yesterday. It will take a long time for them to recover from this senseless tragedy.
