This post is a tribute to our grandmother, Francis Marie Wells. On Tuesday, April 1st, 2008, Mamaw had two very serious strokes and was admitted to the hospital where she went to be with our Lord early Thursday morning. Mamaw deeply touched the lives of more people than I can count. I can't speak for others, but I can tell you what she meant to me. From as early as I can remember, Mamaw was an example of how to have a relationship with the Lord, I know today she is in Heaven singing praises to our Lord. She is finally able to be with her son, Fred Wells, Jr., and her Husband, Fred Wells, Sr. Mamaw taught me a lot about life and growing up to be a man. Mamaw never met a stranger. She always had a kind word to say to everyone and about everyone. When I met my wife Robin, and introduced her to mamaw, she immediately adopted her as her granddaughter. She loved her like she had known her all her life and her face always lit up when she saw Robin. When I called her, she would always say "Let me speak to my granddaughter!" Mamaw, we love you and will always have a place in our hearts for you. Thank you for all you meant to us all! Thank you for always being an example for us to follow. I only hope when I am gone, people will be able to speak as highly of me as they do about you! I Love You!
I put together a short video as a tribute to mamaw, take a minute to watch it and you'll see just what a wonderful woman she was. (please ignore the very small writing that appears in the middle of the picture every now and then, I had to convert the video to a diffrent format in order to upload it to youtube and the free program I used to do that put that there.)

Thank you sooo Much Michael, that was very Beautiful and touching. I didn't spend as much time with Mamaw as Mike did, but Everything he said is very true. There was never a day missed without getting up in the morning and praying for her Kids and Grandkids and Friends. She taught me so much. She disciplined well and Loved even better. I wish I could have been closer personally to her, but distance from each other as far as were we live kept us from seeing much of each other over the last twelve years. I just wish I could've told her I Love her, one more time. I miss you Mamaw, and I can't wait to be with you again when I finally come home too.
